Over the second half of 2019, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, or FDACS, was able to sum up a final report on theme park injuries for the year, indicating that between July and December, all of the injuries involved people aged 30 years or older, minus one incident in which a four year old with pre-existing conditions had a seizure on Peter Pan’s Flight at Disney World.
Other issues relating to theme park injuries included:
- Incidents occurred most frequently on the Star Tours of Disney World, with visitors experiencing seizures, falls, dizziness, and illness.
- The ratio of male to female incidents was roughly equivalent (11 male, 12 female).
- Roughly 78% of the reported incidents involved visitors who were age 40 years or older.
