Sean Nix has been with Beers and Gordon P.A. as the Office Manager and Legal Assistant since its inception in the summer of 2009. She is responsible for much of the day to day operations at the firm, but she has long been that invaluable, daily interface with clients.
A Strong Understanding of Economic Issues
Sean earned a degree in economics from Duke University, then went on to work as a market research analyst/manager and retail buyer. After moving to Florida, she became a certified residential appraiser, which allowed her to apply her educational background to an expanding, professional resume. These combined experiences allow Sean to offer a strong understanding of economic issues, such as loss of earning capacity, involved in so many of our clients’ cases. They also give her a unique empathy because she can speak to clients without having to talk or think like a lawyer.
After growing up in the Atlanta area, Sean was married in 1991 and continued to live in Georgia until the family relocated to Oviedo in 2003 with their two sons. She has been active in the local Oviedo and Seminole communities in many outlets, including volunteering at all levels of primary and secondary education from elementary tthrough high school, non-profit recreational sports organizations including soccer, lacrosse, and football, and through her local church. She and her husband are now enjoying their time together as “empty nesters”.
On a more personal note, Kelly is a native Floridian who moved to Oviedo in 2010 with her husband, son, and daughter. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her horses, and volunteering in her local community.
Thorough Knowledge Of Procedures, Principles, And Terminology Related To Federal, State, And Appellate Courts
Kelly joined the staff of Beers and Gordon P.A. in May 2016. She began her legal career over 17 years ago as an assistant with a boutique law firm. In 2007, Kelly joined a national law firm in Fort Lauderdale, then attended the National Paralegal College where she earned her degree in paralegal studies. Kelly now brings a wide range of experience to Beers and Gordon–everything from litigation, civil rights, appellate cases, construction defect, workers compensation, personal injury, transactional cases, and collections–but she also provides an in-depth knowledge of legal research and trial preparation. She has a thorough knowledge of procedures, principles, and terminology related to federal, state, and appellate courts.
To Obtain The Maximum Settlement Possible In Every Case
Prior to being a case manager at Beers & Gordon, Rosa was an administrative assistant. This included writing demands and requesting medical records & bills. Now as a case manager, she assists the attorney’s pre-litigation by remaining in contact with the clients, medical providers, and insurance companies. One of Rosa’s favorite things to do is brighten our client’s day by keeping the front desk decorated for each holiday. We love her cheerful spirit and look forward to each set of holiday decorations.
Outside of the office you can find Dawn outside working in the yard, camping with her grandsons, or enjoying dinner with her husband and friends.
